Camera System Installed at Pool Areas

We are pleased to inform you that Ring camera systems have been installed at the Santa Cruz and Santa Clara pool areas. The cameras were installed to help monitor activity in the pool areas, deter inappropriate behavior, and assist in addressing any safety or maintenance issues that may arise. 

The “Common Area Surveillance Policy” that has been adopted by the Board of Directors can be viewed at anytime in the Documents section of the Resident Portal at resident.actionlife.com and on the HOA website, paseowestpark.org.

Ring provides a Virtual Security Guard service that monitors the cameras after hours to detect any unauthorized individuals in the pool areas and notifies the authorities if needed. The cameras are not actively monitored during the designated pool hours of 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM. The cameras have a general view of the pool areas and the interior of the pump rooms and do not have any views where people would have a reasonable expectation of privacy (such as the restrooms).

Action Property Management is the entity that has access to the footage. Footage will only be provided to law enforcement agencies upon request.
