Pedestrian Gates on Vetrina and Vienne Reopened

Chains with locks were installed on the pedestrian gates that lead out to Harvard at the end of Vienne and Vetrina a few months ago at the request of the City of Irvine, as there was deemed to be a coyote hazard in the City-maintained walking trails outside the gates and the City wanted to discourage people from using them. The HOA has been informed by the City that the gates can be reopened as no recent reports have been received. Please report any coyote sightings directly to the City of Irvine Public Safety Department by calling 949-724-7358 or emailing coyotesighting@cityofirvine.org. Please note that the gate on Vetrina currently is not latching properly and is in the process of being repaired.
