Parking Permit Program Updates

Effective as of January 2024, the City has reduced the enforcement hours in the parking districts that have permits from 24/7 to the hours between 1 AM and 8 AM.  Parking permits for vehicles parked on the street will only be enforced during these hours. No refunds will be issued for permits that have been previously obtained.

After receiving petitions indicating at least a 2/3 majority of the residents in Parking Districts 4 and 7 wanted to institute a parking permit program in their area, the Board of Directors referred the request to the City of Irvine. The City approved the requests and is coordinating with the Public Safety Department on the development of the databases to establish the parking programs in these districts. The City noted that this will take some time and the HOA will notify affected residents when the program will be implemented.
