Santa Cruz Pool Replaster Project Update

Alan Smith Pools has provided us with an update regarding the status of the completion of the Santa Cruz pool, spa and wader replastering and coping replacement project. They are currently in the process of pouring the new coping in the pool, spa and wader. After this is done, they will need to install all of the new waterline, breakline and trim tile, seal, and prepare for County inspection. Once they pass the pre-plaster inspection, the new plaster will be installed. After the pool, spa and wader are refilled, there will need to be 5 days of initial water treatment to get the pools to the necessary chemical levels and protect the new plaster. Then, after passing the final inspection from the County, the pool area can be reopened for use.

The tentative date the pools will be ready for use is June 16, 2023. We know many residents are anxious to use the pool and spa and we will continue to provide updates until the project is completed. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated!
